	Re-Tally-8 players practise thinking in numbers by creating their own equations, calculating the scores and checking the equations of other players. This helps to increase mental math speed and ability. *Re-Tally-8* players learn to develop math strategy as they calculate the various bonus points possible with their number tiles. Re-Tally-8 players learn to work as a team as they challenge and assist each other.	Teachers may change Re-Tally-8 rules to reinforce their arithmetic lesson plans. For example: decide that only multiplication functions could be allowed when teaching multiplication. Students can add or change rules as they develop their math skills, allowing *Re-Tally-8* to become their mathematics game and sparking their math creativity.
